Welcome Back to the 2022-2023 School Year!
Your Marathon ISD Faculty welcomes you to a year of deep learning opportunities and adventurous classes. The kindergarten through grade 12 Mustangs will be galloping away with new mathematics program, Eureka in grades K-5 and Carnegie Math through a state grant. We have received valuable training, materials, and community support. This year we will be offering a pre-astronomy class, a humanities class, and a live Spanish class for our students in secondary. We have three new staff members: Ms. Johnson in PreK 3,4; Mr. Golden for Social Studies and special classes; and Ms. Hansen for grades 4,5 reading and social studies.
Our goal continues to be to know each student by name, strength, and need, and to graduate each student prepared for the future they choose. We have made some changes to our operations and hope to continue to meet your needs and receive your full support to build a stronger Marathon Community.
We have our athletic schedules up and expect a championship year. Support our Mighty Mustangs by attending games and making sure your Mustang shows up with confidence, positivity, and respect.
Dr. Ivonne Durant, Interim Superintendent
